Corners crisps have gained a successful listing in over 400 Sainsbury’s stores from the 6th of January 2019. The exclusive listing with Sainsbury’s will be introducing four new SKU’s from the Corners range into the popcorn fixture: Pop Corn Sea Salt, Pop Corn Sweet and Salty, Pop Protein Sweet Barbecue and Pop Protein Cheddar & Onion.
Corners crisps are delicious, innovative and gluten-free popped snacks that challenge the perceptions of healthier snacking, proving that you don’t have to compromise on taste when improving your snacking habits. All of the crisps are popped rather than fried, low in saturated fat and contains no artificial preservatives, colours or flavours.
The Corners team have been working closely with the Future Brands team at Sainsbury’s. The better for you market is worth £105 Million* in the UK and shows no sign of slowing down. This segment is made up mainly of repeat customers with purchase frequency increasing year on year. Corners plans on becoming an integral part of this segment in the coming years by providing delicious and exciting new snacks.
The January launch is being supported by a nationwide, integrated marketing campaign that includes social media, sampling, events and PR. There will be a big giveaway on the Corners Social Media pages - more information coming soon.
Corners will be attending tradeshows such as IFE and Specialty Fine Food Fair in 2019. In addition, Corners will be at numerous consumer facing events, including BBC Good Food, throughout 2019.
Pack sizes are 85g with a retail price of £1.80 for Pop Corn crisps and £2 for Pop Protein crisps. Available from select Sainsbury’s stores from January 6th 2019.
